Khulna University Admission Circular 2025 Published! The University has issued the admission notification for its undergraduate (honors) first-year programs for the academic year 2024-25. The KU Admission Test is set to begin on April 17, 2025.
As per the report, this year Khulna University exit from the cluster admission process called GST. The authority published the circular for an independent admission procedure. The University’s acting registrar, Professor Dr. S.M. Mahbubur Rahman, issued the notice, highlighting essential details for admission aspirants. This announcement marks a significant decision as the University leaves the GST Admission Process.
The University will conduct the admission test separately from the academic year 2024-2025. The process will continue until further updates.

Khulna University Admission 2025: Apply Date
The online applications will be open from January 10 to February 10, 2025, through the official admission portal: https://admission.ku.ac.bd.
Applicants must pay the prescribed fees to complete the application submission. The admit card for the admission test will be available for download from the same portal before the exam dates. Detailed instructions, including fee payment procedures, can be found in the admission guidelines on the University website.
Admission Test Schedule
The Admission Test for the Khulna University Admission will be take place from April 17, 2025. Interested candidates must know the full schedule to participate in the exam.
April 17, 2025:
- Unit C: Arts & Humanities, Social Science, Law, Education, and Fine Arts.
- Unit D: Management and Business Administration.
April 18, 2025:
- Unit A: Science, Engineering, and Technology.
- Unit B: Life Sciences.
Application and Eligibility Details
According to the notification, students who passed their SSC or Equivalent examinations in 2021 or 2022 and HSC or Equivalent exams in 2023 or 2024 are eligible to apply. However, applicants must meet specific requirements based on the unit they wish to enroll in.
For diploma-in-engineering students, eligibility requires passing the SSC or equivalent examinations in 2019 or 2020.
Units and Test Eligibility
Interested candidates who passed the SSC or Equivalent examinations in 2021 or 2022 and HSC or Equivalent exams in 2023 or 2024, can submit the application online directly through the official website. They are advised to visit admission.ku.ac.bd and carefully read the admission guidelines to avoid any errors during the application process.
Before going to apply, applicants must know the Unit Wise Eligibility Criteria given below;
- Unit A (Science, Engineering, and Technology): Exclusively open to students from the science group students.
- Unit B (Life Sciences): exclusively open to students from the science stream.
- Unit C (Arts & Humanities, Social Science, Law, Education, Fine Arts): Will accept applicants from science, humanities, and commerce group.
- Unit D (Management and Business Administration) will accept applicants from science, humanities, and commerce group.
For students applying to architecture or fine arts programs, an additional fee of 200 BDT must be paid alongside the respective unit’s application fee.
